I just want to share with you a story about one of the Christmas presents Adam got from my Mom...Back in July when we got married my Grandma Dixon asked me to gather up jeans for a jean quilt that she always makes for family when they get married(it was one of my favorite presents)...anyway I told Adam to bring me some of his old jeans so I could give them to my grandma...well he brought some along with a jean quilt someone had started and never finished.
He told me that his mom had started it, but died when he was six and never finished it, and then his step mom was going to finish it for his sister Michelle's wedding, and didn't. So my grandma and my mom took it upon the job to do it. I was really excited for his to open this present, it means so much to him. He loved his mom and didn't get to spend much time with her here on this earth. He talks so highly of her all the time...Back to the story...when he opened it on Christmas day, he started to cry, it meant so much to me to see him so happy. We both love cuddling up in the quilt.This month alone we have THREE wedding going on. The first one was Adam's cousin Josh-who lives in Arizona...so last week we got to go to the sunny state and be warm instead of being cold in Utah. It was a lot of fun and Josh and Kylee look wonderful together...I must say though, my wedding was a lot better in every way! Down in Arizona it was 72 degrees the whole time. I didn't have to wear a sweater or anything, and then on Saturday we come back to Utah and it's like 10 degrees..BIG DIFFERENCE!

That is such a good thing your mom and grandma finished that quilt that is such a good story. Im sorry to here about his mom. But it sounds like you had a good christmas!
