It's always harder the second time.

This past week I got to go down to Georgia and see Adam graduate from Basic Training!
Can I tell you just how much I hate Georgia, I love trees and all, but Georgia has TOO many! You can't see where you are going because of all the trees.
First time seeing each other after 10 WEEKS! We hugged a lot before we took this picture.

Me, Adam, Chunk, Marilee, J. Lynn at the Navel museum
Everyone thought that Adam was a big boy and then you put him next to chunk and Adam looks like a little boy. He really does look smaller now. Back in February when Adam started to lose weight, his weight was 240 lbs and his waist measured at 42 inch. Now his weight is 214 lbs and his waist is at 36 inch.

Adam and me... Doesn't he look good in a uniform!

This is right before I had to say good night the first night after seeing him and boy was it hard to walk away. We got to be together from 9:45a.m. to 8:00p.m., not enough time by far.

My favorite!
We are so in Love with each other!

Graduations Day! My Mom and I got there at 8:15am to make sure we got good seats. I was freezing cold and we had to wait there for 1 hour and 45 mins. We did get to sit on the 4th row though.

You can see Adam, he is the one facing left. Since he is "Big boy" -meaning the tallest squad leaders he go to run up and mark the spot in which they had to march to.

There is Adam again, front and center.

Adam in formation. He is the first on the front row to your left.
Adam was VERY tired because he had only gotten 2 hours of sleep the night before. They had to stay up late to clean.

Me and him right before I had to say goodbye.
On Thursday Adam didn't have to be back till 8:30p.m. I was so excited to spend a little more time with him. He ate a TON of junk food. We went to all the places he loves. We went to IHop for dinner one night of course.
When I went to drop him we got there at 8:13 so we would have time to say our goodbyes till Thanksgiving. Well as soon as we got there they said that they had two minutes until they needed to be in formation. WHAT? It sucked so bad I had to say a quick goodbye and started to cry right after. Adam later told me that some of the people watching us say goodbye said that they wanted to cry just watching us say goodbye.

Adam was going to be leaving to Texas on Saturday, but Friday morning we found out that he was going to be leaving Friday at 7:30p.m. So my mom and I left early for the airport since our flight was to leave at 4:06p.m. I was so happy that Adam and I got to spend more time with each other. Right when I was suppose to be boarding they announced that our flight was going to be delayed. It ended up being a 2 hour delay. I was so Happy, for once in my life I was happy that my flight was delayed. We got to spend a total of 7 hours together.

This is us together at the airport. I love this man so very much. It was so much harder to say goodbye the second time around. When he had to leave to catch his flight, it was really hard to say goodbye the second time around than the first.
I'm so proud to be his wife and his eternal companion. I'm so proud of everything that he is doing to better our life.

I LOVE YOU ADAM!!!
Only 18 weeks to go till you are home again!!!!
