Birthday WEEK!

On Tuesday Aug. 16 was my BIRTHDAY! I turned 22 years old. I ended up having to cover someone at work on my birthday, but that is okay since I need the hours right now. After working 10 hours, I finally got to come home. Adam made me his famous hamburgers! THEY ARE SO GOOD!!! I did pretty good this year and ended up with money, a movie, a dash cover for the car, and window shinny thing so the sun doesn't come in, a willow tree figure called HERO (has a women holding a folded up flag), a shirt, itunes gift card, gift card to Mimi's Cafe (which we will use one day to go to breakfast), and a necklace.
This weekend was also way awesome because we got to go to Park City! What made it even better was it was FREE!!!!!!! We went with the National guard to a marriage retreat, we stayed at the Yarrow(which was okay, but not the best). We got our breakfast and lunches paid for, which saves us a TON on money on food. We got to watch videos that a guy name Mark Gungor does and he is way funny! If you have never heard of him before just google: laugh you way to a better marriage. Saturday after we got done with classes we went to the outlet mall but ended up not staying very long because there was a lot of people. So we went to ride the alpine slide. Adam has not gone on it in about 20 years and I have never gone on them.
On the lift ride up

We went down the older slides, which from what I have heard are way more fun then the new ones. We had to wait in line for a long time because there was a wedding that just got done and most of the guest went down the slides. It was pretty funny watching all these girls get into the sleds and they have short dresses and high heels on. I would hate the be the one at the bottom when they come down.
Here is Adam getting ready to go on down
And me...
We almost didn't get to go because it looked like it was going to rain and if it rains while you are on it you have to stop and walk the rest of the way down. There was no way I was going to stop and walk.
Me after my ride
About 10 mins after we got down to the bottom it started to rain, lucky us.
For dinner we went down main street looking for something good to eat.
This is the hat I bought that day with some of my birthday money.

We did end up at a place called Main Street Pizza and Pasta and got seated pretty quick but they didn't have the kind of pizza we wanted and if we were to make it with the extra topping it would end up being a lot of money so we left and then got some Dominos. Which was AWESOME!!!
