And so it begins....the countdown to when Adam comes home! Although I really don't have an exact count down because we really don't even know when he'll be coming home. Thank you for everyone that came and supported us in this new journey that we are now taking.
One the the guys in Adam's plattoon proposed to his girlfriend in front of everyone 10 minutes before they left. So in a way it was a bittersweet moment. You get engage yes, but the your loved one leaves.

Adam and I. Yes I did cry a couple times and I did try not to but I couldn't help myself. I am going to miss this man so much. I knew this day was coming for some months now and it has come up so fast and I can't believe it. Even though Adam and I had lots of kisses and hug it was not near enough and I so wish I had another day with him. For now though talking on the phone at night will have to do and I'll pray that they get some days off before they go overseas.

Brielle, Adam, Logan and Ethan
Brielle and Logan kept giving me hugs and kisses the whole time that they were there. It made me feel so loved.

My Grandparent and us
My Family along with a little man who didn't want to let go of Adam.
Need I say more about these next two pictures
Adam standing in last formation before they get on the planes
Their plane. Adam got a window seat just so he could see me a little longer. Normally he get the aisle seat since he is so tall and needs to stretch his legs out.

These next months to come will be hard for sure and I'm sure I will be crying quite a bit. I will miss him more than he'll ever know. But now that he has left the sooner he can come home. I LOVE you ADAM and I can't wait for you to come home.
One of the other Army wives posted this song on her blog and I thought I would share it with all of you.

Such great pictures!!!! I wish I could have seen you more today!
You are such a strong woman! There is no way I could even do that! I am so grateful for Adam's service. You guys will definitely be in my prayers!
Our hearts and prayers will be with you while you journey apart for this time. We often give thanks for the sacrifice that is made by those who serve our country to keep us safe. I think we should also give thanks for those who are left behind--they too sacrifice for our country. Thank you Crystal. You are a wonderful young lady. You can do difficult things.
