This beautiful girl below is my sweet cousin Jessica and one my best friend growing up. I was always up at her house a couple times during the summer months growing up. We played Barbies together, we would pretend we were speaking Spanish when we really didn't even have a clue, go to Lagoon, and played countless hours outside. Well in a little over a month she is going to be leaving for 18 months to serve the Lord in the Bacolod Philippines Mission. I'm so excited for her and so sad that I will not get to see her for 18 months.
On Saturday I had the wonderful opportunity to go and do a temple session with her. We went to the Draper temple. Neither of us had ever done one there and it was so beautiful. The spirit was so strong and I love the feeling of peace and worry feel that you feel when you are in the temple. During the session I started to think what a better way to celebrate Easter then going to the temple. It was such a wonderful experience. Now I just can't wait to do it again when Adam gets home.

The lady we asked to take our picture kept pushing the wrong button on my camera and so we stood there for a long time. It was getting a little chilly standing in the shade.
After we went to Kneader (one of my FAVORITE places!) We got the Turkey, bacon, avocado....SO GOOD!
Well that was my Easter celebration and it was so wonderful. I know that Jessica is going to be an amazing missionary.

Oh my goodness, you are so sweet, Crystal! This seriously made my entire day. :) I'm going to miss you so much!! And I totally forgot about speaking 'Spanish.' hahahaha thanks for reminding me! Brought back some of the best memories of my childhood. :) I'm so blessed to have you as my cousin and friend. Love you!!
