Thankful!!

This last week we had a couple birthday in the family. First we had Adam's little brother J Ryan. He turned 22!! Then Adam's Mom Jane Ann had her birthday. She would have been 56 this year. We took flowers up to her grave. on Wednesday night.

Thursday morning Adam and I went and ran a 5k. It was a great way to burn off some extra calories before eating a big dinner later that day. Everyone who finished the race got a medal. Adam ran along with me the whole time. He could have ran a lot faster if he just went and ran at his normal pace. 

If you look in the picture you can see the big man in the back with the stroller...he almost looks like he is dieing.

While at the race we ran into one of my teachers and her husband.

In the picture you can see Adam making his super yummy pie crust...with lard..yes lard..and the picture above it has the finished product...banana cream pie!!! SO yummy!!!

So that was our Thanksgiving...running a 5k and then dinner and fun with family.  It was a great day. I was so thankful that I actually got to spend Thanksgiving with my amazing husband instead of having to be miles and miles away.
