For our anniversary Adam surprised me with tickets to go see the Utah Symphony at Deer Valley on August 1st. They were played the 1812 Overture, which if you haven't heard it before is amazing. I love the cannons that go off at the end, you don't even know its coming until they go off. I'll admit it did make me jump a little.

Our ticket were for the lawn, so we brought our blanket to sit on and I was freezing before they even started to play. I left my jacket in our car which was parked
CLEAR down there. Adam being the wonderful husband he is went and got it for me along with some hot chocolate.
Adam looking amazing with his newly cut hair his cousin Janessa did for him.

The two of us at the top of the hill, I could only see the stage if I was standing.

We also stayed at a hotel call Inn on the Creek which is in Midway, we got there Saturday before we went to the concert and left Sunday. For dinner we went up to Park City, which was a bad idea because it's their Art Festival which we didn't know. There was no parking anywhere and we ended up having to pay 8.00 dollars to park just so we could go eat dinner. We ate at this really good place on Main street call, Bandits' Bar and Grill. Adam got a
1 lb. prim rib, he said it was really good. I got a chicken sandwich, which was a little too smoky for my taste, but the fries were was good.
The tickets and the hotel was an anniversary gift to both of us, my real present Adam got me is my anniversary/birthday gift. I love to scrapbook, I guess you could say it's one of my hobbies. Now I really don't have a lot of stuff so I'm pretty limited as to the extent of my pages go. For three and a half months Adam has been putting some money aside so he could get me a
Cricut! I had no idea that he was getting me one, I had always thought of getting one and if I did it would just be the little one. Adam got me the big one, the
Cricut Expressions, it fits 12 inch paper instead of 6 inch paper.
My Cricut came with two cartridges, which are super fun to play with.

I did get something for Adam also, I just don't have a picture of it right now. I got him a new backpack/hydration pack for when we go hiking. He has been wanting one for while now, so I thought our anniversary was the perfect time to get him one.
My hobby is indeed scrapbook and Adam's is reloading. Now for those of you who don't know what reloading is, it's when you reload bullets. It's really fun to do, but TAKES FOREVER sometimes. I've helped him do it before(believe it or not). Adam has done this since before I knew him, he likes it because it's cheaper to reload than to by new bullets. My dad had a reloading kit at my Grandpa house and he let Adam use it, well it lives at our house.

I've helped Adam reload close to 400 rounds of .45s.
In this picture he is reloading .223

Reloading has become one of his Sunday activities, especially when he doesn't want to sit around doing nothing. I love my husband so much and I'm so grateful for fun time we got to have over the weekend.
