IT'S BEEN A WHILE

I know it has been a while since I last blogged on here, but it's has been crazy busy in our lives. I have been doing school NON STOP it seems like. I finished finals for Anatomy and Nutrition the last week of April and then I got a two week break and I am now starting Summer classes. Okay it's only one class but it's 6 hours every Tuesday and Thursday.

My grades for Spring were AWESOME!!!!! I got A's, I love getting A's. I even got it in ANATOMY!!!!! So excited for that one. Although it was over a little trial to get the A. Here's the story, grades are posted on May 5 and so just happened to look the day before and they happened to be posted and it said that I had an A in Nutrition and a D- in Anatomy. My heart just about dropped out of me. I was like, "WHAT!? No, Way it that my grade, I scored higher than a TON of people!" So, I went and talked to my lecture teacher and it turns out that my lab teacher didn't turn in my score for lab and so I had a D-, well I gave him my sheet that had my final score for the lab and he told me that, that would give me my A! He ask if I wanted to cry, and I said yes , because I really wanted that A. Reason for that is so I can get into the nursing program. Which I can apply for in August, and then hopefully get in and start in the Spring 2012 semester! Since I did good this semester I had Adam take me to Red Lobster so I could get me some crab legs and they were so, so good.

During my little two week break I helped Adam upstairs. We are getting so close to being done. All that is left really is the shower to finish being tiled, countertops and kitchen sink to go in, and then carpet.

And this is the bathroom, it is all plumbed and ready to go, and yes Adam has been using it since the night we got the toilet in. The sink was not even in yet.

So that is what we have been up to. This weekend Adam is in Price for a three day drill in which they are doing a convoy. Adam got to be the medic for those who didn't pass their PT test last time and he said that one guy could only do 16 sit ups. He was also excited because he got a full on aid bag for the weekend. It was really hard to sleep in the bed by myself last night, and I can't wait for Sunday night to get here so I can sleep with my hubby.
