Once upon a time...
There was a boy and a girl and neither of them knew the other existed, but they hoped and prayed that they were out there. But their love story is nothing short of
a FAIRYTALE.
One day while the boy was a work he caught on fire and got a 3rd degree burn on his arm. He went to the doctors and had to have it cleaned and wrapped often. One day he saw a girl at the drinking fountain at the doctor's office and thought she was cute...and she had a cute bum...Then a couple days later when he was there he saw this same girl in the lab holding a cup of pee. The girl was shy and didn't really say anything because she thought that all hot boys were married that came in.
The next day the girl came in to work and her supervisor told her that this boy thought she was cute! So a couple days later when said boy was to come in she planned to bring cookies in for her "supervisor". She did this and the boy was there and she gave him a cookie. Little did she know was that he also had bell's palsy at this time and didn't want to try and eat the cookies and drool at the same time in front of her. He got her number and what do you know their last 4 digits are the same, it was meant to be.
Their first date was on March 1, 2008 and went to Ruby River and he still had his Bell's Palsy but she couldn't tell. Reason for this is because he sat in front of a mirror and practiced smiling and blinking and opening his mouth. Now the date may not have gone as planned and neither of them knew if the other one liked the other. Then when she texted him to say thank you a couple days later he asked her out again and again. They had many kisses, the had long talks before she would go inside the house and sometimes they would take too long and her Mom would flicker the front pouch light.
He proposed under a starry night and under the moon in the back of the blue jeep with the top off so they could look at the stars on May 16, 2008. He called her his Serious(this is star that is the brightest star in the sky for us because of our perspective of where it is and where we are) and slipped a ring onto her left hand. With no else around but them she was speechless and didn't know what to say because she was in shocked and didn't see it coming. She didn't see it coming because it was her idea to go star gazing in the first place. She did say YES and they kissed. It was an amazing night that both will never forget. He proposed like she wanted him to, with no one else around and not getting on one knee.
They were married on July 31, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. Which is a castle all on its own and they said Yes forever and all eternity across an alter. That three letter word meant the world to hear for each other for they both know that they will be together not only in this life but the eternity that they have ahead of them. The spirit was so strong in that room and many tears filled the room.
They have had many trails through the years, but through them they have grown in so many ways. They don't have children but know someday that they will bless their lives with happiness. But for know they sit under the same moon, weather they are right next to each other or miles, and miles away from each other like they are right now. Their love has grown from the time that they have been away, first from when he went off to basic when he joined the national guard and then again when he left to serve his country and protect and 'heal' his brothers' in arms.
Adam, I love you so very much!! As I sit here writing this I'm getting all sorts of emotions coming up and thinking about how much I miss and love you. How much I wish you were here for our anniversary, but just as my dog tags say that you made...look to the moon. I know that you'll be looking at the same moon and say,"I love you Crystal and happy anniversary. Thank you for the best 4 years ever and for being my wife" Just as I am saying I love you Adam and Happy Anniversary! I'm sure that you would say a lot more and that you'll be sending me kissing and hugs.
I love you Adam and thank you for the best 4 years ever! I can't wait for you to come home to me but I know you are doing what you need to be doing right now. I know we don't have kids Adam but one day I know I'll be done with school and we can have cute little ninos of our own and one day all your schooling will be done too.
I know we don't have kids Adam but one day I know I'll be done with school and we can have cute little ninos of our own and one day all your schooling will be done too.
