J Ryan is HOME!!!!

So Adam's little brother J Ryan got back last week after finishing Basic Training and AIT in South Carolina. He left in March just 2 weeks after getting married to this lucky girl below. So they have been away from each other for 5 months now. Last Sunday we had a welcome back party.

For the part I was in charge of making treats so I wanted to make something people didn't need plates or forks for so I made chocolate covered strawberries. Dipped in white and then drizzle red and blue chocolate on top. I think they turned out GREAT! I made over 60 and they were all gone by the time I left.

Here is me and J Ryan. Man I missed that boy more that I thought I would. It was a bitter sweet moment because he is home and my hubby is not. SAD Face :( By the time J Ryan and Adam see each other it will be over a year since they have seen each other...I can't wait to capture that moment on camera.

Here is my soldier! He is so sexy! and he is all MINE! He is doing good right now and misses home and of course me. He wishes that he sometimes wasn't with a construction group because they don't get to go out much with the people of Afghanistan and that is what he would like to do. I thought that he would be helping to build building for the people instead of just for the other bases around there. But things happen for certain reason which we may not know and I know things will work out. They have to work out.

At the party I brought this so people could write letters/draw pictures for Adam and I just sent them off to him last week so hopefully it will get there soon. All the nieces and nephews drew one for him.

I love my soldier man and I love him so much! He is an amazing person!
