Nothing on the paint

As many of you know Adam has family in Mesa, Arizona. I love going down there and spending time with his family, we also find something to laugh about. Well this last weekend we got to go down for a wedding, Adam's cousin Amber, it was such nice weather only reaching 95 most days. I love the sun and can't wait for summer to be here. Well any way we got put in charge of decorating the wedding car...hehe....the fun part. After seeing and hearing stories of other people's cars I told myself that I wouldn't do anything to damage the car, because I think it is very rude. Now to the funny part of the story.....
Adam and some of his partners in crime!

After the reception had started we went and got things ready for the car, we had the normal stuff-soda cans, string, toilet paper, oreos, window paint, balloons and powder sugar- Well as soon as we started to decorate the car the grooms(Karl) little brother(who happens to be 11) came out and started to freak out saying, "Karl said don't get anything on the paint" well it's not like we were going to put anything on the paint that would ruin the car. Then we started putting oreos on the car and a tiny and I do mean a tiny piece of the cream fell on the bumper, so what does the little brother do...well he goes up one of us helping with the car and says,"Did you help put the oreos on?", they said,"Yes", then he said,"get that piece of cream off the car". At this point you might be thinking that's not too bad, but just wait. Adam started putting powder sugar in the tail pipe, and then all over the car, throwing every which way he could. Well the little brother then is really freaking out, telling us that the powder sugar is going to ruin the paint, and he even took a picture on his phone and when and showed Karl, came back and said,"You're in big trouble now, I told Karl on you and his is super mad"-which he was not mad at us just at his little brother for interrupting the line to tell him that.-I thought it was so funny. Oh, the other part was that he was then telling the younger kids that were helping us that he ever saw them decorating a car again he would drag their bum down the street.(I'm thinking this kid needs some anger problem resolved)...

Another reason we went down to Arizona is because Adam's Grandma is not doing the best and has just gone down hill in the health department the last year. Adam's brother, and sister both came down just to make sure they get to see grandma one last time for sure. The last couple months she has been in and out of the hospital. She has been having problem with her feet and legs and heart, she has gotten cellulitis a couple of times. After the wedding was over we ended up taking her to the hospital again because we thought she had it again, but she didn't. They did blood work and her Platelet count was over 800(and it's only suppose to be at 400 at the highest, is what they told us). They sent her home and the rest of the weekend she got to put her legs up.
(Me, Adam, Michelle, Grandma, Jon, and Alli)

On the way home we had Adam's sister Michelle with us because she flew down, and we stopped at this rock on the way back. This rock is a special rock because when they were little they stopped with their mom and took a picture. Adam and I have always wanted to stop there and take a picture when we have kids, but since Michelle was there and decided to get one now. I am so happy we got the picture because it mean a lot since Adam's mom passed away not too long after that picture was taken.

It looks so beautiful looking over the valley.
