This past weekend was General Conference, and my parents were able to get tickets for the whole family. Well, Every one but Jason, we didn't know if he'd be home in time to come with us. When we found out that he would be home my parent's bishop tried to find an extra ticket but sadly could not. So my mom decided that she would give Jason her ticket and she would try to get in by doing the standby tickets. Well when she got to the line she told her story to one of the ushers and he told her if one of us would bring our ticket down to prove that she was telling the truth then he would let her in even though he did not have an extra ticket to give her. It was so nice to have the whole family there, I love listening to the speakers and what they have to say. It was Megan's(my little sister) first time going and man I could tell that she was so board out of her mind. I think she may have fallen asleep at one point. I remember doing the same thing when I went at her age. Adam sometimes still falls asleep, but can help it. They turn the light down, your sitting in a nice seat, and the speakers just have that voice that calms you,
I'm so happy that it did not snow while we were up there or even rain for that matter. For the past two years I have been lucky enough to go two or three times and every time with out fell it rains on us and it is always cold. Every time I go to conference there is always those people that protest against us and what not. Telling us that we are going to hell and that we don't believe in GOD. Well this time there was not as many as there has been in the past. About two years ago when Adam and I got to go together for the first time there was a man walking around in a devil suit. It was so funny to watch!
After conference we walked around Temple square and took a couple of pictures. and here they are....
This is our temple, in July it will have been two years since we got sealed.
