First Time For Everything

So this last weekend was Adam's first drill. He got to wake up at 0645 hours and had to be to Spanish Fork at 0745. From there Adam got to enjoy a fun afternoon playing with air soft guns. Or as Adam puts it he got to play with the air soft nerds and beat them at their own game. When he got home he had a nice sun burn line where his hat had been, it was pretty funny.

While he was gone on Saturday I got to have my sister Megan over and we watched The Princess and the Frog and I did her hair and we took pictures of her at the park. It was my first time watching Princess and the Frog, and it was really cute I thought. We also had a fun time running around getting everything ready for my brother's prom night. It was his first time going to Prom and he had a ton of fun.

This is Megan my one and only sister. Everyone says we look a lot alike.

Oh, and her hair is suppose to be curly, but her hair would not do anything I wanted it to do. So this is what we ended up with. I still think she looks cute.

On Sunday I got to go to church all by myself for the first time, and what do you know, I still don't have a partner for the nursery and since Adam was gone I didn't have anyone to help me. I tell you what though, it was hard with 9 kids in there. Lucky for me someone from the bishopric came in to bring his granddaughter and I got him to help me for a little bit. I love the little kids when they get ready to go because they love that time because it's called Bubble Time!

Adam's Sunday drill he got to do PT which is physical training. PT consists of 3 areas which are: Running, push ups, and sit ups. He barely didn't pass each part, in the running he missed my 11 sec. 16 sit ups and 2 push ups. He was so close, but I know he'll do better and pass next time.

So fun! Megan looks super cute. I like how her hair turned out-- the wave is really pretty. :) I'm glad Adam was able to beat everyone at the airsoft gun stuff. haha Tell him I say good luck for his next PT. I know he'll pass. :) Oh, and I LOVE the Princess and the Frog! I'm glad you finally got to see it. I watched it like five times in three days when it first came out. haha Glad everything's going great.
