I'm a proud Army wife

I know, I know all I do is brag about my wonderful husband but I am so proud of him. Today I got a letter from him...an 8 page letter! Yes, it was for a couple days that it was written over, but still it was a letter from ADAM. Last week they started white phase and they were put into squads with squad leaders. Well those squad leaders didn't last long. They were all fired and Adam was made a squad leader! So now he is on duty squad and he's a squad leader. He says that his squad is really good and he feels lucky to have them in his squad. I already know that he would be a great leader. The only bad thing is that he doesn't have any personal time, so he has NO personal time to even think about writing letters. It makes me sad because I have to wait a little longer between letters from him. I am so proud of him and every thing he does. He is the best person I have ever met and I know that he loves me!

On another note I did start back to school. I am taking Math 1050 and Chem for health science. So far I think that I have really good teachers. I even told both of them right away that I would be gone for one or two classes due to the fact that I will be going to Georgia. Lucky for me I won't be missing any exams or tests. They are both willing to work with me too. Now all that is left is to get my books! That's the ugly part really. Lucky for me my friend is going to sell me her chem book for really cheap and hopefully a lady at work will still have the same math book and I can get that from her. That would save me a good amount of money.

When I was telling my chem teacher that I would be missing two classes because I would be flying out to see my husband since he is in the army. I almost started crying. I got a little emotional and thought of how happy I will be when I see him for the first time in over two months. I already know that I will cry a LOT!

Congrats to Adam! That's awesome! :) That would be sweet if you got the books with those deals. That's the part I'm not looking forward to in college.... a stinkin' huge amount of money, just on books alone. :P By the way, to answer your question, Xela (pronounced Shayla) is one of my choir classes consisting only of girls. It's so much fun. I love it.
