I think the worst thing for a college student isn't paying the tuition. It's paying for books that are way too much! The last couple semesters I took I have spent an average of 300.00 per semester on books. So this semester I was ready for anything. My Chemistry book is listed at 98.00 new and about 75.00 used. The College Algebra is listed at 120.00(just the book not the solutions man.) new and 105.00 used. Well I went to the bookstore to buy my books on Thursday but as I found the chemistry book they only had one copy left on the shelf and it was new, no used ones were there. Then I had a feeling to ask my friend if she still had hers. Which she did! So I bought it from her for 20.00 saving me 78.00! I was so excited. Then on Friday the lady I work with finally got back to me and she had the math book still.
So she brought it over to me at work, I asked if she wanted me to pay her for it and she said NO! yahoo!!! So I saved 120.00 there and she even gave me the solutions manual(which cost another 50.00 I believe). So all together I saved around 248.00!!! I can't tell you enough how happy I am I didn't have to spend that much this year. So thank you MINDI and BRENDA!!!!!
On a side note, Adam takes his qualifications on the M-16 tomorrow!!! I know that he'll pass with no problem. If he doesn't then something is wrong.

Wow, what a steal! I hate buying books more than anything, so ridiculously overpriced! Hope you are doing well! I am sure it is so hard to have your man gone! It was hard enough sending Jim on a mission....and we weren't even married then! Glad to hear he is doing well!
