This weekend started out not so much in a good way. Friday night I had an emotional time in which I could not stop crying for some reason. Okay I know that reason, but do not want to share it with everyone because it is personal. I really wished at that moment that I could just call up Adam and talk to him, but unfortunately I can't. They only time I get to talk to Adam is when he calls me and I never know how long I'll get to talk to him. Well according to Adam's head Drill Sergeant once they hit white phase, which they have been in for three weeks now, they would get their phones every Sunday. Adam has yet to get the chance to call on Sunday. I talked to him on a Tuesday and then two week later I talked to him on a Monday. So Yesterday I was praying really hard that they would get to call, because I was having a not so good weekend and needed to hear his voice Really bad....and what do you know....HE CALLED!!! I got to talk to him for 15 mins, which is the longest I have ever talked to him. It would have been longer but his phone takes 10 mins to load. So if anyone has an old T-mobile phone that still works and is willing to let Adam use it, please let me know. Thanks! Anyway those 15mins were the best ever!
On Saturday Adam got to go to a concert for 9-11 and got to relax for a couple hour and eat REAL food! He was really happy about the real food part. He said he got pizza, funnel cakes, ice cream and he had 2 Pepsi(the first by choice and the second because the poweraid was all gone by the time he went back for a 2nd drink). He was so happy! Some of the other companies that are there can eat milkshakes and candy and they have been there just as long as Adam if not shorter. Adam's Drill Sergeants won't let them have those yet. Which I think is a good thing because it better for them not to have all that junk. Adam told me that he weight now is 216, which means that he has lost 10lbs. I'm so happy for him because the Army wanted him to lose more weight and he did. Good Job ADAM! I love that man so much and he made my weekend have a great ending.
Up at the Spanish Fork Cemetery they have what's called the moving wall-(click on moving wall to go to their website). It's a down size version of the Vietnam wall in D.C. It was really cool to go see it and I did learn a few things. Like it starts and ends in the corner. What the different symbols by the names mean. It makes me want to go see the real one, one day. Also while I was there it wasn't loud at all, having it that quiet reminded me of when I was in Germany and went to one of the concentration camps. What can you say? There are now words to describe the sadness that you feel. The wall will be in Spanish Fork til the end today, so if you get a chance you should go and see it.
Well that's all the little updates for now, more to come later this week!

I'm so glad you finally got to talk to Adam! That moving wall sounds neat... I've been to the real one in DC and it is absolutely incredible. I hope you get to go there someday too. :) I hope this week is better than your weekend was. I love you!
