NURSING

Ever since High School all I have ever wanted to become was a nurse. I look a class to become a medical assistant my senior year, just to make sure that I liked the medical field...and I LOVED it. I love what I do at my job. I get to see so many people every day and all of them have some different story to tell. I get to see lots of cool things, and I get to make people feel better and maybe put a smile on someone's face when they are feeling sad. I also get to see lots of pregnant people and their CUTE babies!!! (yes it does make me want one sometimes but then I think that I really need to finish school). Back to the whole nursing thing, I applied to UVU last semester to get into the Spring 2012 class. I got to the interview part and thought that I did really good, but then a couple weeks later I got my DENIED letter and I could figure out why I didn't get in. I know now that it was not meant to be at that time for some reason or another. It could have been because Heavenly Father knew that Adam would be getting deployed and thought it best that I be with him as much as possible but who knows.

So I'm getting ready to apply again I took my TEAS test again and did a little better. I am really nervous because I found out that you can only be interviewed twice in a 5 year period and if you don't get in on the second time with a 5 year period, well you don't get in. Nursing is all I have every wanted to do and I don't know what I'll do if I don't get in. So I'm asking everyone a favor...pray for me!!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE pray that I get an interview and that I can get into the program. This is my dream and I want it so bad to come true.

I did apply to MATC's LPN program but when I took my application up I just had this weird feeling that something was not right about this. The feeling came before I even headed up to go hand it in. I felt like, "should I really be applying here?" So I hope that is a sign of some sort. I did turn my packet in anyway so we'll see where that goes.
